How it ALL Began

Before we discuss the series of emails titled, "RE: something of mom's joan found," which will now be referred to as RESOMJF, we must first go back to where it all started. It was a quiet Thursday evening in May 2007. People had full bellies from their delicious evening meal while others had full bellies from MANY delicious meals. Florence, a future matriarch in the family, sat in front of her computer to compose an email. She takes a great deal of pride and delight keeping the many members of the Lamb-Doran clan informed with any pertinent information regarding the family empire. On this particular evening she decided that the Lamb-Doran clan MUST learn about what Joan found! What could be more fitting than giving it the title "something of mom's joan found?" She could hardly contain her excitement. Her fingertips typed away vigorously. This message needed to get out. Fast. There was no time for her to spell check, let alone capitalize proper nouns in a title. Besides, we all know Joan is a person. The most important thing was to GET THE MESSAGE OUT! Joan would understand. So that is exactly what she did. When Florence was finished typing, she quickly attached a picture of what Joan found to make this finding not only a great find for Joan, but also a great find for every member of the Lamb-Doran clan that would open the email titled, "something of mom's joan found." With that added little touch she clicked SEND. At 8:34 and 36 seconds on that Thursday evening, something special was sent out into the cyber universe. Something that couldn't be taken back. Through archive recovery I am able to provide not only the original email in its original format, in its complete entirety but also the attachment of precisely what Joan found! Isn't that neat?

HI Everyone,
I have attached a copy of a newspaper clipping dating back to 1948. Joan found it in a book of Mom's and she gave it to Brian. I scanned it for you all to read. It was for the 2nd anniversary of the Death of Mom's Mother, Grandma Lamb. The first paragraph is from Mom and Aunt Kathleen and families. The second one is from Aunt Nora (**Peter your Grandmother) and Uncle Billy Lamb and then one from Maggie and Sonny and finally one from Aunt Joan. It's hard to imagine that piece of paper has been around for 59 years!
Hi Ann, I thought you would be interested in seeing this too since it is from Your family as well.
Let me know if you guys can't open it, I will be glad to mail a copy to anyone that needs it. Joan and Brian thanks for sharing!!
Love, Florence
